Do I need to be Catholic to enroll my child at Sts. Joan of Arc & Patrick School?
No! While our curriculum is rooted in our Catholic faith and traditions, it is not a requirement for parents or students to be Catholic to enroll at STSJP.
Who can I contact with any questions I have about the school?
Please call the school office at 765-865-9960 or fill out our request for information form. You can also reach out by emailing our principal at [email protected].
Does the school provide a bus service?
We do offer a limited bus service that can pick up and drop off students at their homes, however availability depends on the bus route which is determined at the end of summer break after registration has been completed. Please email our principal if you are interested in learning more about transportation options: [email protected].
I have multiple children in different grade levels. Do I need to drive to both campuses for drop off / pick up?
No! Our shuttle bus provides families with the convenient option of dropping off and picking up at either campus at the start and end of the day.
Morning Shuttle Times:
At both campuses…
● You are able to drop students off starting at 7:25.
● The bus will leave at 7:35 promptly.
● The bus will arrive at approximately 7:50.
Afternoon shuttle times:
This one varies a little bit. For instance, at the St. Patrick campus we have to buckle our 3 and 4-year-olds into their safety restraints. We try to have the buses at each campus on the following schedule:
● Buses loaded and ready to leave at 3:00.
● Buses will typically arrive between 3:15-3:20.
Are your teachers licensed?
Yes, all of the teachers are fully licensed, highly qualified teachers.
What are the school day hours?
The school day begins at 8:00am and ends at 3:00pm.
Does STSJP provide Before and/or After School Care?
We do not offer Before School Care, although students may be dropped off anytime after 7:25am on school days.
In the event of a two-hour delay, students may be dropped off at 9:25.
After School Care is available on school days until 6:00pm and is located at the Saint Joan of Arc campus. Students at the Saint Patrick campus will ride the shuttle to our Saint Joan of Arc campus to be taken to After School Care.
For more information about After School Care, please call the St. Joan of Arc office: 765-865-9960
My child has special needs. Can STSJP accommodate them?
We want your student to receive the best educational experience possible, and to ensure that STSJP is a good fit for your family. Cases in which students will require additional resources are addressed on a case-by-case basis.
Students with disabilities are accommodated when the student can benefit from the school environment and academic programs provided in small and large instructional groups. We are not equipped to provide one-to-one instruction.
Can I enroll my child halfway through the school year?
Please reach out to our school office if you are interested in transferring to STSJP in the middle of a school year. We will do our best to accommodate your family.
What is the school's policy regarding COVID-19?
To view our most recently updated policies, please visit our COVID-19 page.
Can my family afford your school?
There are multiple programs available to assist families with paying tuition to attend STSJP. Our leadership is dedicated to making sure that cost does not cause a stumbling block for our families. If you would like to learn more about financial assistance, please email our principal Nick Kanable ( [email protected]) or Therese Bath ([email protected]).
My child forgot their lunch at home. Can I drop it off for them? What time do they need it by?
Lunch times vary by campus, but usually begin around 11:00am. If your child forgets their lunch please bring it by the school office before 10:30.
Are parents allowed inside the building during the school day?
Due to Covid restrictions, parents are not allowed inside the school building during drop off, pick up, or the school day in general. Please see our Covid-19 resource page for more information about our policies, as they are frequently changing.
Cold Weather: Does my child still need to wear a coat even if it’s too cold for outside recess?
Yes, please send your child to school with a winter coat during the colder months. There are several instances in which students may need to go outside and we want them to stay warm. For example, students at our St. Patrick campus will walk across the school parking lot at lunch time, or students may need to walk outside to visit the Bookmobile.
