What a great start to the school year we’ve had! We’ve welcomed dozens of new students to our community of saints. Our current students have been very welcoming and our new students have fit right in. New friendships are blooming right in front of our eyes...
In view of all of this, we are going to be sunsetting our SCRIP program. We want our volunteers to use their hours in what is most beneficial to the parishes and this program is no longer that answer. Thank you to all who have been involved over the years. You have helped immensely, and we look forward to your help in future endeavors. Thank you & God bless.

Some of the middle school students recently shared their thoughts. “I love that in STSJP we are more than just teachers and students; we are a family,” seventh-grader Elyse said. “At STSJP you feel welcome no matter who you are.”
This December the Knights of Columbus generously donated funds to allow us to give our teachers and staff much-deserved bonuses. This has been happening for many years now and most parishioners have no idea. As a Knight myself, I am aware of the great amount of charitable work that our local K of C does every year.
The pastorate school is hosting two open houses for families who might be interested in finding out more about STSJP’s programs, cost, assistance, and enrollment opportunities at the Preschool-8th grade school.
The new website — stsjp.org — serves as a hub of information like lunch menus, school calendar, and other important updates. “It’s all up-to-date and in one place,” Facista said. “I’m excited about the ‘meet our teachers’ section of the website where parents can get to know our teachers better!”
Sts. Joan of Arc & Patrick continues to operate as a school without a full mask mandate. However, we will continue to enforce masking in congested areas and will enforce social distancing to the extent possible. Following the guidance from the Indiana Department of Health, here is our updated Covid-19 policy.
