|The 2016-2017 Year begins Aug. 10|
Students in Kindergarten through 8th grade will begin the school year on Wednesday, Aug. 10. ALL students will begin with Mass at the St. Patrick Campus. Shuttle buses will leave the St. Joan campus at 7:35, or parents may drop off at the St. Patrick Campus between 7:25 and 8 a.m. All students should enter the main school entrance and go to the gym. Students in K- 2nd grade will go to their classrooms before going to Mass. Parents and grandparents are encouraged to join us as we open the new school year by praying together.
|Backpack Day set for Aug. 9|
STSJP students entering K-8th grade are encouraged to pack up their backpacks with school supplies and bring them to school during Backpack Day, Tuesday, Aug. 9, between 5 and 7 p.m. Backpack Day gives you a chance to say hello to your teacher, find you desk and locker, and unpack all those school supplies. Then you can come to the first day of school ready to go!

Tuesday, July 19: 3 to 7 p.m.
Wednesday, July 20: 1 to 5 p.m.
Thursday, July 21: 9 a.m to 1 p.m.
ALL sessions are at the St. Joan of Arc Campus.
If you have not yet reserved a spot for your child, please contact the school office at 865-9964. There are openings in many grades, preschool to 8th grade. The phones will not be answered on registration days as our staff will be busy assisting families.

Mark your calendar and buy tickets today for STSJP's second annual Comedy Night with Dave Dugan at Rhum academy. Dave returns to Kokomo June 24. Doors open at 7 for cocktails and a silent auction preview; showtime is 8 p.m. For tickets, contact Therese Bath at 626-7006 in the SJA parish office.
|Fifth Grade Invites Everyone to View State Reports|
Our fifth grade students have been working on state reports all year, and they would like to share what they have learned! Join them on Thursday, May 12, from 8 to 11:30 and 12:30 to 2 downstairs at the St. Joan campus. Learn interesting facts about states, and taste foods that are unique or popular to each.
|Sports Physicals Offered for STSJP Student-Athletes|
STSJP students who wish to participate in STSJP school sports are invited to a free sports physicals night on Thursday, May 12, from 5:30 to 7 p.m. upstairs at the St. Joan of Arc Campus. All middle school students must have a physical form on file before participating in any practice, competition or other school athletic event. Students in grades 4 & 5 are encouraged to have a physical on file but parents may file a waiver of physcial exam for students in those grades.

Early Childhood Round Up Set for March 9
Sts. Joan of Arc & Patrick School will host a Round Up for its early childhood programs on Wednesday, March 9, at the St. Patrick Campus located at 1230 N. Armstrong Street. Families with a child who will be five-years-old by Aug. 1 are invited to come at 5:30 for an information session about the kindergarten program and classroom visits. Families with children who will be 3 or 4 by Aug. 1 are invited to come at 6:30 to learn about preschool and pre-kindergarten programs. No RSVP is necessary. Parents who wish to enroll their children during the Roundup are asked to bring the birth certificate, immunization records and, if applicable, baptismal certificate.
Parents who are not able to make the Roundup, and families of children entering grades 1 – 8 in the fall, may call 865-9964, ext. 361, for more information.
|Students will "Leap Ahead" on Leap Day|
STSJP students will celebrate Leap Day by "leaping ahead" to the next grade level. Following Mass at St. Patrick, students will spend the morning learning about the curriculum and activities in the next grade. Our 8th grade students will spend a nostalgic morning visiting kindergarten. We look forward to a fun and exciting Leap Day!
